Welcome to Master Acupuncture Healing Centre – The Acupuncture Mississauga Trusts

If you are searching for effective, natural, and drug-free healthcare in Mississauga, you have come to the right place. At Master Acupuncture Healing Centre, we specialize in four advanced acupuncture techniques – classical meridian acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, ear (auricular) acupuncture, and Tung’s acupuncture – to treat the root cause of your condition. Chinese herbal medicine is available as optional support, but acupuncture is always our primary focus.

Acupuncture in Mississauga

Why Master Acupuncture Healing Centre is the Top Choice for Acupuncture in Mississauga

1. Four Acupuncture Styles in One Visit

We don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your condition, we blend classical acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, ear acupuncture, and Tung’s acupuncture in a single session for maximum results.

2. Acupuncture-First, Herbs as Optional Support

While we offer Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture is our primary treatment. Most patients see significant improvement with needles alone.

3. Precise Traditional Diagnosis

Each session begins with pulse and tongue diagnosis, then we select the most effective points from multiple acupuncture traditions.

4. Local & Convenient for all of Mississauga

Located near Erin Mills Pkwy & Eglinton, we serve Square One, Erin Mills, Streetsville, Meadowvale, Port Credit, Clarkson, and all surrounding Mississauga neighborhoods.

Our Unique Acupuncture Techniques – The Master Acupuncture healing Centre Difference

We believe different conditions respond to different needling techniques. That’s why every treatment is customized using one or more of the following four advanced acupuncture systems.

1. Classical Acupuncture (Traditional Meridian Acupuncture)

Based on the ancient Huang Di Nei Jing, classical acupuncture follows the body’s 12 primary meridians. We insert needles at specific points to regulate Qi flow, balance Yin and Yang, and treat the root of disease. Ideal for chronic pain, digestive issues, stress, and hormonal imbalances.

2. Scalp Acupuncture (head Acupuncture)

Using internationally standardized scalp zones that correspond to specific brain functions and body areas, Scalp acupuncture is exceptionally effective for neurological conditions including migraines, post-stroke recovery, dizziness, tinnitus, and chronic pain that doesn’t respond to body acupuncture. Needles are inserted shallowly – minimal discomfort, dramatic results.

3. Ear Acupuncture (Auricular Acupuncture)

The ear is a microsystem reflecting the entire body. By stimulating specific ear points, we can rapidly affect the central nervous system. Auricular acupuncture is our go-to for anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, addiction cravings, and acute pain, We use ear seeds or needles for lasting effect between sessions.

4. Tung’s Acupuncture (Dong’s Extraordinary Points)

Originating from the Tung family lineage, this unique system uses points primarily on the extremities (hands, arms, legs, feet) that are not found in classical meridian theory. Tung’s acupuncture is famous for immediate pain relief, musculoskeletal disorders, and internal medicine conditions where conventional acupuncture has failed. Our practitioner has advanced training in Tung’s acupuncture – a rare skill in Mississauga.

How We Combine These Four methods (Example)

A patient with chronic low back pain might receive classical points on the bladder meridian, Tung’s points on the hands (e.g., Ling Gu, Da Bai), ear points for pain, and scalp acupuncture for long-term central regulation. You stay fully clothed (except lower legs/arms), and we never rush.

Conditions Treated with Acupuncture in Mississauga

All conditions below are treated primarily with our four acupuncture techniques. Chinese herbal medicine is available as an optional supplement.

1. Pain Management – All Types of Pain

Why Mississauga patients choose us for pain: Our combination of classical + Tung’s + scalp acupuncture often provides faster relief than single-method acupuncture.

We treat:

• Chronic back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain

Sciatica, herniated disc

• Knee pain, hip pain, osteoarthritis

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Migraines, tension headaches, cluster headaches

Fibromyalgia

• Sports injuries, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel

• Plantar fasciitis, TMJ, post-surgical pain

Acupuncture Mississauga for pain: Most patients experience significant improvement within 3-6 sessions.

2. Anxiety & Insomnia

Our speciality: Ear acupuncture + scalp acupuncture + classical calming points.

We treat:

• Generalized anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety

• Chronic stress, burnout

• Insomnia (difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, early waking)

• Restless sleep, nigtmares

• Nervousness, heart palpitations from stress

How it works: Ear acupuncture regulates the vagus nerve and lowers cortisol. Scalp acupuncture balances brain activity. Classical points like Shen Men(HT7) and Yin Tang calm the spirit. Many patients feel relaxed after the first session and sleep better within 1-2 weeks.

3. Infertility & Women’s Health

Fertility acupuncture Mississauga using classical meridian points + Tung’s gynecological points + ear paints for hormone regulation.

Infertility (female & male)

• Unexplained infertility

• PCOS, endometriosis

• Irregular ovulation, poor egg quality, low ovarian reserve

• Thin uterine lining, recurrent implantation failure

• Male factor: low sperm count, poor motility

• IVF/IUI support

Women’s Health (non-fertility)

• Painful periods, irregular cycles, PMS

Perimenopause & menopause (hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes)

• Postpartum recovery

• Recurrent UTIs, yeast infections

How it works: Acupuncture increases blood flow to the uterus and ovaries, regulates the HPO axis, and reduces stress – a major fertility blocker. Many couples conceive within 3-6 months of regular acupuncture.

4. Internal Medicine – Digestive, Respiratory & Systemic Health

Using classical acupuncture for internal organs + scalp/ear for central regulation.

Digestive

• IBS (diarrhea, constipation, bloating)

• GERD, acid reflux, chronic gastritis

• Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s (supportive)

Respiratory & Immune

• Seasonal allergies, allergic rhinitis

• Mild asthma, recurrent colds, sinusitis

• Eczema, chronic hives

Other Internal Conditions

• Chronic fatigue syndrome

• Post-COVID syndrome (fatigue, brain fog, shortness of breath)

• Hypertension (adjunctive)

How acupuncture helps: Points on the stomach, spleen, lung, and kidney meridians restore internal balance. We treat the root cause – not just symptoms.

Chinese Herbal Medicine – Optional Support

While acupuncture is our primary treatment, we also offer custom Chinese herbal formulas (granules) to deepen and prolong results. Herbs are prescribed only when needed. All herbs are pharmaceutical-grade, and prescribed by our registered practitioner.

How Our Acupuncture Sessions Work (No Herbs Required)

Step 1 – Initial Visit (60 min)

Comprehensive health history, pulse & tongue diagnosis. We determine which acupuncture styles suit your condition.

Step 2 – Acupuncture Treatment

You relax on a treatment table. We apply needles based on classical, scalp, ear, and/or Tung’s systems. Most patients feel no pain – just tingling, warmth, or a sensation of energy moving.

Step 3 – Rest with Needles (45 min)

Needles remain while you rest in a dim, quiet room. Many patients fall asleep.

Step 4 – Follow-up (45 min)

Adjust techniques and points based on your progress. Most conditions require 6-12 sessions for lasting results.

Optional – Herbal Prescription

If needed, we prescribe herbal granules to take home.
